Astral Records
Astral Records is an eclectic independent music store founded in 1996 in Atlanta, Georgia. It's an indie music lovers' hangout for live shows, events, and a large stock of new releases and vintage hits. A self-initiated branding project for a fictional vinyl record store. I designed a variety of lettering and illustrations inspired by a retro space theme to then combine them all in a set of different marks, shapes and actions that fit different media.

Building a Brand From Scratch
Custom Lettering & Illustrations
Hand drawn original letterforms inspired by vintage signage and gig poster typography, refining each character to capture the store's retro personality.

Used custom lettering and illustration to compose a versatile set of brand marks — including primary, secondary, and icon variations for flexible use.
